Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace with 2 mounting points connects the upper mounts of the rear dampers and helps reduce body flex during dynamic driving.
The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. When cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating, the transfer of the vehicle’s mass affects the body.
In some cases, the transfer of mass when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to experience up to three times more load than the other. This causes body flex and deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex and deformation when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
