The rear upper strut brace with 2 mounting points is designed for the Nissan Sunny (130Y) 1.3 2WD with carburettor, model years 1981–1985.
The vehicle body is exposed to heavy loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than the load on the other side. This can cause the body to bend and twist, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
