Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Peugeot 207 I

The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to 3 times more force than the other. This can cause significant bending, deformation and twisting of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear strut brace connects the mounting points of the rear suspension and helps increase body stiffness. The design has 3 mounting points.
