The car body is subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and deform, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Body twist when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace increases body rigidity and helps limit its twisting.
