Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Renault Clio IV

The vehicle’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress while driving. This is especially noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or intensive acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This creates significant loads, body flex and torsional deformation of the chassis, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex and torsional deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear strut brace increases the rigidity of the rear section of the body and helps limit flex during dynamic driving.
