During fast driving, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads, mainly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and flex, which can lead to the tyres losing grip. The result can be poorer handling, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear strut brace connects the suspension mounting points and helps reduce body flex during dynamic driving.
