At high speeds, the vehicle chassis is subjected to considerable loads, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant flexing and deformation of the body or chassis, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace is designed to reduce this body deformation. The design has 2 mounting points.
Use is limited to the specified engine variants: Subaru Legacy with 3.6R and 2.5T engines, and Subaru Outback with 2.5T and 2.5 naturally aspirated engines.
Suitable for: Subaru Legacy V (BM/BR), Subaru Outback IV (BR).
