The vehicle body is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during fast driving. These loads are caused mainly by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This results in greater body twisting and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear strut brace helps stiffen the body around the upper mounting points of the rear suspension and reduce its twisting.
