Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Toyota Corolla AE86

The car body is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can cause significant body flex and deformation, subsequently resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Body flex and deformation when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace (strut bar) helps further connect the rear suspension mounting points and improve body rigidity.
