The Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Toyota/Scion IQ AJ10 has 2 mounting points and helps reduce body flex during dynamic driving.

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during fast driving. This is mainly caused by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsion of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
