Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Volkswagen Beetle II (A5)

During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads caused by weight transfer.

When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to flex or the body to deform, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace additionally connects the mounting points and helps reduce such deformations.
