Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Volkswagen New Beetle 9C

The vehicle body is exposed to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause pronounced twisting and deformation of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Body twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear strut brace helps increase body stiffness at the mounting position.
