Ultra Racing rear strut brace for Volkswagen Passat CC

The Ultra Racing rear strut brace (strut bar) for Volkswagen Passat CC has 2 mounting points and is designed to increase body rigidity.

The car body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable when the body’s mass is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to 3 times greater than the other. This can result in significant body deformation and flex, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Body deformation and flex when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
