The vehicle body is subjected to considerable loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and body flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex during cornering can also cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing rear strut brace connects the suspension mounting points and helps reduce unwanted body movement.
