The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace connects the mounting points at the rear of the body and is designed to reduce body flexing and twisting during dynamic driving. This version has 4 mounting points.
The car body is the part of the vehicle exposed to the greatest loads during fast driving. These loads are caused primarily by the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause significant body flexing and twisting, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Flexing and twisting of the chassis in corners can negatively affect vehicle handling, for example by causing understeer or oversteer.
