The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the rear suspension and helps limit body flex during dynamic driving.
The car body is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant deformation and body flex, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
