During fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration, the vehicle body is exposed to high loads, primarily due to the transfer of the body’s weight.
When cornering, the transfer of weight can cause forces on one side of the vehicle to be up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes the body to flex and deform, which can lead to the tyres losing grip.
Body flex during cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
Suitable for: Honda Civic X (5/DOOR/FC1/FK2) / XI (FE/FL).
