The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle body. During fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration, weight transfer affects the body, causing additional loads.
When cornering, the force on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This can cause the body to bend and twist, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis bending and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The strut brace helps limit these unwanted body movements.
