The vehicle body is exposed to significant loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause the body to twist and bend, resulting in the tyres losing some of their grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can affect the vehicle’s handling and cause unwanted characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the rear suspension and helps increase body rigidity in this area.
