Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace for Smart Fortwo W450

The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during fast driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s weight.

When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This can cause the body to twist and deform, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis flex while driving through corners can affect vehicle handling, including understeer and oversteer. The rear upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points and helps increase body stiffness.
