The vehicle body is subjected to high loads during high-speed driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body weight.
When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in body twisting and chassis flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis twisting and deformation when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The rear upper strut brace helps increase body stiffness around the upper mounting points of the rear dampers.
- Design: rear upper strut brace
- Number of mounting points: 2
Suitable for: Subaru Impreza II (GD/GG).
