Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace for Volkswagen Golf V (1K)

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear upper strut brace helps limit such loads on the vehicle body.
