The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body weight.
When cornering, the transfer of weight to one side of the vehicle can create a force up to 3 times greater than on the other side. This causes greater twisting and deformation of the body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis when driving through bends can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace helps increase the stiffness of this area of the body.
The Ultra Racing URTW-TW2-3853 is a 2-point front upper strut brace. For the Škoda Superb III (TYP 3V), it is intended for 2.0T versions with 2WD or 4WD and Estate bodywork, while for the Volkswagen Arteon (3H7), it is intended for the R 2.0T 4WD Hatchback version.
