ACL Race rod bearings with Calico CT-1 coating use a dry film lubricant to reduce friction and abrasive wear. The thin coating is engineered for the demanding conditions of high-performance engines and provides resistance to oil and fuel.
The coating offers improved embedability, allowing debris contaminants to embed in the bearing and helping avoid damage to the crankshaft. Dry film lubrication provides additional protection during intermittent oil starvation, cold starts and extreme oil temperatures.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
