ACL Race rod bearings for BMW S14

ACL Race rod bearings for BMW S14 combine design, metallurgy and engineering in trimetal engine bearings developed for higher RPM conditions.

The construction supports the bearing lining, improves retention in the housing and assists heat transfer. Increased eccentricity helps with the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.

• Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
• Elimination of flash plating on the back to improve heat transfer and maximize grip in the housing
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
