ACL Race rod bearings for Ford Cosworth YB / L3-VDT

ACL Race rod bearings are tri-metal engine bearings designed for operating conditions with higher RPM. The set includes ACL Race Series con rod bearings.

The construction combines a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness, hardened steel backs and increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming hydrodynamic oil films.

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
