ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings for high-performance applications and higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides improved fatigue resistance.
Hardened steel backs improve support for the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming hydrodynamic oil films.
- high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness
- hardened steel backs on all rod bearings
- increased crush for improved bearing retention
- elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer
- tight, consistent wall tolerances
- ACL Race Series rod bearing set

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
