ACL Race Series rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed to withstand higher-RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering supports reliable operation in demanding applications.
The construction includes features for improved bearing retention in the housing, more efficient heat transfer and assistance in forming hydrodynamic oil films.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.
- Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to support the bearing lining and assist with retention in the housing.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
