ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering is intended for demanding performance engine use.
This set includes ACL Race Series con rod bearings with improved retention in the housing, controlled eccentricity and features that support the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip between the bearings and housing

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
