The Autotech high-pressure fuel pump kit is designed for EA839 direct-injection engines. It is available for the 3.0T EA839 V6 and 2.9T EA839 V6 versions.
Each piston, with a diameter of 11.81 mm, and its corresponding cylinder are precision-ground several times during manufacturing, ensuring highly accurate tolerances. The piston and cylinder are matched to one another and individually marked for precise operation and a long service life.
The high-pressure pump components are coated with a plasma DLC coating that reduces friction and supports more efficient operation. Precise manufacturing and purpose-designed components are also required to properly realise the benefits of the coating.
