The CTS Turbo high-flow catalytic converter for the Audi S4/S5 B9 with the 3.0T (EA839) engine is designed to improve exhaust gas flow and increase the engine’s performance potential. Compared with the restrictive factory catalytic converter, it allows for a freer-flowing exhaust system.
It is manufactured using advanced CAD technology, ensuring an exact fit in the original catalytic converter’s position. The housing is cast from T304 stainless steel, hand TIG-welded and welded with inert gas back-purging for long-lasting reliability.
Combined with the factory exhaust system, it produces a sportier, more pronounced growl and more pronounced pops on downshifts. The sound is more pronounced on upshifts, while an already-installed aftermarket exhaust system will make it even louder. During relaxed driving with the factory exhaust, it does not produce unpleasant droning.

Suitable engine management software calibration is required to remove the check engine light (CEL), which may appear after installation.
