The oil catch can kit is designed for BMW N54 engines. The oil catch can prevents oil vapours from entering the intake manifold and deposits from building up on the intake manifold and intake valves in engines with direct injection. Deposits can reduce engine performance and increase fuel consumption.
The kit includes:
- CTS Turbo billet aluminium valve cover breather, CNC-machined from a single piece of T6061 aircraft-grade aluminium;
- CTS Turbo billet aluminium oil catch can with a dipstick for checking the oil level;
- 10 AN Black-Series black braided hoses;
- oil catch can mounting bracket;
- stainless steel mounting hardware;
- Hose-Wrangler clamp.
Important: During the winter months, the fluid in the oil catch can may freeze and cause engine damage. The fluid level must be monitored particularly carefully, or the oil catch can should be removed when temperatures are below freezing.
Suitable for: BMW 3 V (E90/E91/E92/E93), BMW 5 V (E60/E61).
