CTS Turbo’s high-flow turbo muffler delete is designed for 1.8T and 2.0T engines with integrated IHI turbochargers. It replaces the factory turbocharger muffler, which reduces harmonic turbocharger noise and restricts airflow.
The product features a one-piece construction designed using precise CAD tools and CNC-machined in-house. It is cast from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium.
The turbo muffler delete removes the restriction at the factory turbocharger outlet and provides smoother airflow. The kit can be installed in approximately 30 minutes using standard hand tools.

Important compatibility limitations
- Not compatible with Garrett or Continental turbochargers.
- On Audi A4/A5 models, it is not compatible with facelift versions that use a V-band turbo connection.
- On some Audi A3, S1, S3, TT and TTS vehicles, as well as the Volkswagen Jetta GLI, it is not compatible with vehicles equipped with the newer PCV system. Check whether an additional hose is connected to the turbocharger outlet.
- For the Volkswagen Tiguan, the product is suitable for 2018–2019 model years, but not for models from 2020 onwards. 2020 is the changeover year, so the version must be checked on the vehicle.
