Forge Motorsport adjustable turbocharger actuator for Ford Fiesta VII ST180

Fully serviceable and adjustable replacement turbocharger actuator for the Ford Fiesta MK7.5 ST180. It is fitted as standard with a green spring suitable for factory boost pressure, while stronger springs are also available for modified engines.

Spring colour coding:
Green – standard spring
Purple – 13 psi (0.9 bar)
Yellow – 15 psi (1.03 bar)
Blue – 18 psi (1.24 bar)
Red – 20 psi (1.38 bar)

Forge Motorsport was one of the first companies to develop and manufacture a two-piece replacement aluminium turbocharger actuator made from machined material. This model allows fine adjustment and better control of the required boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response.

Important: The stated spring pressures are minimum regulated pressures. On modern engines with electronic ECU control or a solenoid valve, the mechanical spring pressure does not necessarily correspond to the target boost pressure. When choosing a spring, take the specific vehicle configuration and planned level of modification into account.

The actuator is designed for more precise adjustment of the turbocharger system’s boost pressure. The standard spring is suitable for standard or slightly increased boost pressure, while the stronger spring is intended for tuned vehicles requiring higher pressure. Actual compatibility and achievable boost pressure depend on the engine management settings and the capabilities of the engine and related components.

The standard version uses an internal diaphragm seal, while a piston-sealed version is also available. The piston version offers comparable performance and reduced maintenance due to the durability of the piston seal.

The kit includes:

The actuator is supplied as standard with a green-marked spring. All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.
