Forge Motorsport adjustable turbocharger actuator for Subaru Impreza WRX STi models from 2006–2007. It enables precise adjustment and control of boost pressure according to the vehicle’s requirements.
Forge Motorsport was one of the first to develop and manufacture a two-piece replacement turbocharger actuator made from billet aluminium. The actuators are tailored to the individual vehicle and turbocharger and are made to order.

Important: The stated spring pressures are minimum regulated pressures.
Installing a Forge actuator enables more precise adjustment and regulation of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and control. The product is supplied as standard with a pre-selected spring suitable for standard or slightly increased boost pressure. For tuned vehicles, a stronger spring can be fitted on request where higher boost pressure is required.
The standard actuator design uses sealed internal components with a diaphragm, while a piston-sealed version is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to the durability of its piston internals.
The actuator is supplied as standard with a standard spring. For the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the Type 2, 049 diaphragm version.
All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.
The stated spring pressure according to the colour markings relates only to the mechanical aspect of operation and applies primarily to older turbo engines where boost pressure is not regulated by the ECU or a solenoid valve.
With modern engines regulated via the ECU or a solenoid valve, the target boost pressure does not need to match the spring’s mechanical specification precisely. When selecting a spring for a specific model and planned level of modification, follow the recommendations of a qualified tuner.
Compatibility with the vehicle must be checked for the T2 (FMAS049) spring range.
