Forge Motorsport adjustable turbocharger actuator for VAG 1.4 TSI

The Forge Motorsport adjustable actuator allows more precise adjustment and control of the turbocharger boost pressure. The actuator is designed for specific vehicle and turbocharger combinations and is supplied as standard with a spring for factory or slightly higher boost pressure.

Installing the Forge Motorsport actuator allows you to set the required boost pressure more precisely, providing improved response and control. A standard spring is fitted as standard. A stronger spring is also available for vehicles with a higher level of modification where higher boost pressure is required.

The diaphragm-sealed internals are the basic version of this actuator. Piston sealing is also available, offering comparable performance and reduced maintenance thanks to the robust piston seal design.

The actuator is intended for systems where the vehicle’s control electronics can support the desired setting. The actual permitted boost pressure depends on the capabilities of the engine, turbocharger and control system. Follow the recommendations of a qualified tuner when selecting the spring.

The actuator is supplied as standard with a standard spring. To use the FMPACTUN spring kit, the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 version must be selected.

The kit includes:

• 1 × FMACVAG09 actuator
• 1 × Forge sticker

The stated spring pressures for the different colour markings refer to mechanical operation and are directly comparable mainly on older turbocharged engines without electronic or solenoid control. On modern engines controlled via the ECU or a solenoid, the target boost pressure is not necessarily determined directly by the stated mechanical spring pressure.

Suitable for: Audi A1 I (8X), Audi A3 II (8P), SEAT Leon II (1P1), Škoda Superb II (3T4) / II (3T5).
