This replacement hose with aluminium couplings is an important upgrade for all modified vehicles with higher boost pressure. It is made from fluorosilicone, available exclusively in ochre, with Nomex fibre-reinforced lamination. This combination withstands the high temperatures in the immediate vicinity of the turbocharger and oil that can accumulate in the hose and would cause conventional silicone to deteriorate.
- Forge silicone hoses in this kit have an inner layer made from a modified silicone called fluorosilicone.
- They are therefore suitable for use with modern long-life coolants, coolants based on organic acid technology (O.A.T.) and air containing oil mist.
- The hose construction is designed to exceed the performance of the original hoses while also improving the technical and visual appearance of the engine bay.
Important: The original O-rings or seals must be retained when using Forge hoses.
