Forge Motorsport turbocharger actuator for Renault Clio IV RS 200/220 Turbo EDC and Nissan Juke I (F15) 1.6 Turbo.

Forge Motorsport was one of the first to develop and manufacture a two-piece replacement aluminium turbocharger actuator. This actuator enables more precise adjustment and control of the required boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and control.

The actuator is supplied as standard with a yellow-coded spring. To use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, the Type 2, 049 diaphragm version must be selected.

The diaphragm-sealed internal design is the standard version, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to the more durable piston seal design.

The actuator is designed to increase the turbocharging system’s output boost pressure. Its operation and the actual achievable pressure depend on the settings and limitations of the standard or upgraded engine management system. On vehicles with upgraded boost pressure, the correct spring must be selected according to the engine, turbocharger and planned level of modification.

On modern engines with electronic control via the ECU and solenoid valve, the mechanical spring rate does not necessarily correspond to the target boost pressure. Follow the recommendations of a qualified tuner when selecting the spring.

All actuator rods are manufactured from 303-grade stainless steel.

The actuator uses a yellow-marked spring. For the T2 spring range (FMAS049), the selection must be adapted to the specific vehicle and planned level of modification.
