The lower engine torque mount on the i30 N has two rubber bushes: a large one on the engine side and a small one (14 mm) on the subframe side. The Powerflex PFF26-121 replaces the small rubber bush with a polyurethane bush and a stainless sleeve. On its own it removes part of the play; paired with the PFF26-120 insert the mount works as a whole – no engine rocking and no wheel hop, yet still far cheaper than the complete PFF26-122 aluminium mount.
Why the PFF26-121
- Replaces the soft factory rubber on the subframe side – removes the other half of the mount’s play
- A stainless inner sleeve is included; it does not rust or wear
- Ideal in combination with the PFF26-120 insert (yellow, purple or black)
- A replacement without changing the whole mount
