Racingline Gen.3B silicone intake hose – 2.0T (190 hp)
The Racingline Gen.3B silicone intake hose (part number VWR12G7R602ITBLA) is a direct replacement for the restrictive factory plastic hose with a bellows or corrugated profile, connecting the airbox to the turbocharger intake hose on 2.0 TSI Gen.3B engines with 190 hp. The hose is compatible with the factory airbox and the Racingline R602 Cold-Air Intake system.
Due to its corrugated design, the factory intake hose causes turbulence and limits the amount of air that can reach the turbocharger. Replacing it with a smooth silicone hose removes this restriction and provides the turbocharger with a more consistent air supply.
Why silicone instead of a rigid hose?
Some replacement turbocharger intake hoses are made from rigid plastic or aluminium. The engine moves on its mounts under load, so a rigid hose can place additional strain on the intake system or eventually crack. Silicone combines a smooth inner surface for good airflow with sufficient flexibility to accommodate engine movement. The result is a durable and reliable connection for everyday driving and more demanding use.

The hose is intended exclusively for 2.0 TSI Gen.3B engines producing 190 hp. It is not compatible with the 220, 230, 245, 265, 280, 290, 300 or 310 hp versions, as these use a different turbocharger and a different intake system design.
