Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) for 333 PS EA888 Gen.4 engines (2024+)
The Racingline Power Control Module (PCM) is a plug-in tuning module developed specifically for the latest 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engine, used in high-performance models from Volkswagen, CUPRA and Audi. It provides a simple and reversible way to increase power and torque without permanently modifying the factory engine control unit.
How the PCM module works
The small electronic module connects to the existing sensors on the upper part of the engine via the supplied plug-and-play wiring harness. It optimises signals such as boost pressure, thereby increasing power and torque, while continuing to work together with the factory engine control unit and its protection strategies.
The module was developed and tested to maintain smooth operation, reliability and a long engine service life.
Power and torque increase
- Power: from 333 PS to approximately 393 PS
- Torque: from 420 Nm to approximately 491 Nm
The stated figures are based on tested Racingline applications. Actual results may vary slightly depending on engine condition, fuel quality, ambient temperature, supporting modifications installed and the measurement method used.
Compatibility
This PCM version (VWR030003-CONT) is intended for 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engines with 333 PS and a Continental turbocharger. Due to the different turbocharger versions used on EA888 Gen.4 engines, check before installation that the vehicle is equipped with the correct version.
Upgrade to OEM+ software
The module is designed to receive a free upgrade to Racingline OEM+ software when it becomes available for the individual vehicle. This allows further upgrading without losing the value of the initial PCM solution.
Installation
The PCM is designed for installation with basic mechanical knowledge. The module is mounted above the battery using the supplied carbon bracket and fixing hardware, while the wiring harness connects to the existing sensor connectors on top of the engine.
No cutting, soldering or ECU programming is required. The system can be completely removed by disconnecting the module and reconnecting the original connectors.
