Racingline high-flow turbo inlet hose – 1.0 TSI EA211 engines

The Racingline high-flow turbo inlet hose is a direct upgrade for EA211 1.0 TSI engines, improving airflow to the turbocharger. The original inlet elbow is restrictive, as sharp internal transitions reduce the efficiency of the air supply to the turbocharger. The kit replaces it with a smoother, larger-bore silicone hose and a precisely manufactured aluminium 90-degree elbow, allowing the engine to draw in air with less resistance.

The result is faster turbocharger response, improved throttle feel and a moderate but noticeable power increase. This is a sensible basic upgrade for the 1.0 TSI engine, whether you use the original airbox or an upgraded intake system.

The role of the turbo inlet hose

The inlet elbow is the final section of the intake before air enters the turbocharger. On the original 1.0 TSI engine, it is made from moulded plastic, with internal ribs and a sharp bend that disrupt airflow. Replacing it with a high-flow silicone hose and a smoother aluminium elbow allows a greater volume of air to flow freely. The turbocharger therefore spins up faster, while the engine breathes more efficiently across the entire rev range.

Kit contents

The kit includes a high-flow silicone turbo inlet hose and a 90-degree aluminium turbo inlet elbow. They are supplied together as a complete solution for direct installation.

Note: The bend in the metal section has a structural shape that may look like a dent. This is intentional and forms part of the design, not damage.

Important compatibility information: Models from 2019 onwards (WLTP) have a one-way valve on the original inlet elbow. If your vehicle is equipped with this valve, this product will not fit. Check the existing inlet elbow before installation.

The kit is intended for VW Group vehicles with the EA211 1.0 TSI engine. Due to differences between engine versions and model years, check the exact vehicle specification before installation.
