Racingline turbo inlet hose for VW Tiguan II/Škoda Kodiaq I-II/SEAT Tarraco I

The Racingline turbo inlet hose is a direct replacement for the factory intake system, which has restricted flow on 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engines equipped with a Garrett turbocharger. It is designed for larger SUV models such as the VW Tiguan, Škoda Kodiaq and SEAT Tarraco producing 245 hp, providing more direct and faster airflow to the turbocharger.

The factory setup, with its narrow plastic ribbed hose and narrowed turbo elbow, creates turbulence and restricts the air supply. Racingline replaces both parts with a smooth, multi-layer reinforced silicone hose and a CNC-machined aluminium Turbo 90 Inlet elbow. The internal diameter increases from the factory 62.5 mm to 76 mm, improving airflow to the turbocharger.

Vehicle benefits

Removing the restriction at the turbocharger inlet improves throttle response and allows the intake system to operate more efficiently. If the vehicle is already equipped with a high-flow intake kit, this upgrade is a sensible choice to ensure unrestricted airflow to the turbocharger. On standard vehicles it improves response, while on modified vehicles it helps meet the greater demand for airflow.

Choosing the correct version

For EA888 Gen.4 engines with a Garrett turbocharger, Racingline offers two versions of the turbo inlet hose. This product, code VWR120005, is intended exclusively for larger SUV models:

• VW Tiguan 245 hp with an EA888 Gen.4 engine and Garrett turbocharger
• Škoda Kodiaq vRS 245 hp with an EA888 Gen.4 engine and Garrett turbocharger
• SEAT Tarraco 245 hp with an EA888 Gen.4 engine and Garrett turbocharger

Version VWR120003 is intended for other EA888 Gen.4 engine applications with a Garrett turbocharger producing 245 hp and 207 hp. The two versions are not interchangeable because of differences in component layout in the engine bay between the SUV platform and other platforms.
