9 mm steel snow chains for passenger cars with the Ö-Norm and TÜV Austria marks (as stated by the manufacturer). They give better grip, braking and handling on snow and ice, on tarmac and gravel. Fitted without moving the car and easy to take off.

Which vehicles. Chains with 9 mm links are meant for passenger cars with enough clearance between the tyre and the suspension; the manufacturer also lists minibuses and motorhomes. For SUVs and vans we recommend chains with 12 mm links (Einparts KN), and for lowered cars and large wheels snow socks, which need almost no clearance next to the wheel.
Use. Fit the chains on the driven wheels and try them once at home before winter. Before use, read the fitting instructions and check that the chains suit your vehicle and tyres.

How do I choose the right chain size?

Which wheels do the chains go on?
On the driven wheels: the front for front-wheel drive, the rear for rear-wheel drive. For all-wheel drive follow the vehicle manufacturer instructions.
Are they valid in Austria?
Where chains are signposted as mandatory, Austria requires chains to the ÖNORM standard. The manufacturer states the Ö-Norm and TÜV Austria marks for these chains.
What if my tyre size is not listed?
Contact us via the contact form with your tyre size and car model. For lowered cars and large wheels snow socks are often the better fit.
