Ultra Racing 3-point rear lower chassis brace for Jaguar XJ6 XJ40

The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in high chassis loads, body flex and torsional twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flexing and twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.

The Ultra Racing rear lower chassis brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the body and limit unwanted chassis twisting.
