The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, hard braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times greater force than the other. This can result in significant chassis twisting, as well as body deformation and torsional movement, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing rear lower H-brace helps increase the rigidity of the rear section of the chassis and limit its twisting.
