A vehicle’s chassis is exposed to heavy loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When driving through a corner, the force on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the bodywork to twist and deform, consequently reducing tyre grip.
Chassis flexing while cornering can cause unwanted driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce body flexing and twisting.
