The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable when weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater loads on the body, causing it to flex and deform, which can lead to the tyres losing grip.
Body flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing brace helps reduce undesirable body movement around the C-pillars.
