During fast driving, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to considerable loads caused by weight transfer. When cornering quickly, one side of the vehicle can experience up to three times more force than the other, causing chassis flex and body deformation.
Body flex during cornering can affect the vehicle’s handling, contributing to understeer and oversteer and reducing tyre grip. The C-pillar brace helps increase body rigidity and limit unwanted deformation.
