The vehicle body is among the parts subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering quickly, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. The result is increased body twisting, chassis flex and loss of tyre grip.
Body twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This 2-point C-pillar brace helps increase body rigidity and limit twisting.
